The European Flugel Horn

Here is my flugel horn. It is an acquisition from Germany and it is pretty old. It is a high pitch instrument and it plays in the key of C. (kind of) There are no identifying marks on it except for a faint block letter engraving. R. SOUKUP STRAKONICE. After a bit of investigation, I found that STRAKONICE is in the Czeh Republic. I know it is old, and well used. It has a few dents, patches and flaws but overall, a pretty nice instrument. It needs a good cleaning and it is a nice addition to my collection. I hope to find a crook so that it can be converted to a Bb instrument.
