Here is an Ebay special I did not have to pay shipping on. My sister picked it up in sunny southern Florida. It's a KEEFER tuba. It's pretty old and crusty but I like old tubas and of course, the price was right. It is missing 2 of the neato valve buttons. It also has quite a large leak on the backside of the leadpipe. I can not imagine how such a long hole could have developed on it, but it's there and needs to be repaired. I will have to solder a patch on it. It also has a big dent in it that really should be knocked out before reassembly. The bell has sever tiny cracks in the bell but they are not a big deal to me. I am afraid the valves are leaking and need a good cleaning. Check out that interesting vintage patina! The slides are all stuck but nce I get a pair of slide pliars and some cracker penatrating oil, I will get to work on it!
